Official opening of First Office in Bucharest
On 17 February, a press event was held in Bucharest to celebrate the official opening of First Office.
The business centre has already operated for more than a year, but the opening was organised as a kick-off for the 2009 marketing plan, to inform the Romanian public about the operations of the company.
Indrek Elhi gave an overview of the activities of the IPC Group and the Managing Director of First Office, Haricleaa Spaler, introduced in greater detail the opportunities offered by the First Office business centre.
The media took a keen interest in the event: nearly 30 Romanian journalists from television, newspapers, magazines, online publications and news agencies arrived. Media coverage was extensive and over 50 articles were published.
First Office adopted a new corporate identity
As First Office plans to enter international markets, the corporate identity of the company was renewed. It took nearly four months to develop a new logo, the author of which is the Romanian design company OneUp.
The new logo is now displayed at large on the facade of the building. We also opened First Office's new homepage at www.firstoffice.ro.
IPC briefing for investors in Tallinn
On 26 February, the IPC Investment Group celebrated the successful conclusion of its investment program called "IPC Esimene Rumeenia Emissioon" with a seminar at the Swissôtel, Tallinn.
IPC Partners Siret Soom and Indrek Elhi spoke about the previous activities and future plans of the IPC Investment Group. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IPC Real Estate, Mr Hannes Kuhlbach, gave an overview of the Romanian economy and the situation on the real estate market.
The presentation by Siret Soom, an IPC Partner, cast light on the outstanding outcomes of IPC Esimene Rumeenia Emissioon OÜ, which earned a record-setting 60% yield in the present economic situation for about 80 investors from Estonia. At the end, Indrek Elhi gave an overview of the current status and future plans of the plot portfolio of IPC Romanian Land Portfolio OÜ.
The event was attended by nearly forty enthusiasts who have already invested in the programmes of the IPC Investment Group.
IPC Investment Group has a new homepage
Work on renewing the homepage of the IPC Investment Group lasted for almost a year; now a new and neat homepage has been published.
The creation of a special design for the identity description of the investment company proved more time-consuming than at first expected. Yet it was certainly useful because we reviewed and reassessed various in-house activities and values in the course of the work.

Nord Hill is the new business name of IPC Real Estate
In the middle of March, the IPC Investment Group decided to change the business names of its companies engaged in real estate investment and development, and introduced the new trade mark Nord Hill.
The goal of replacing the trade mark is to establish itself better among the players on the Romanian market and mark a clearer distinction between the business names of the investment company IPC Investment Group and its real estate branch.
As a result, the names of the companies belonging to the IPC Group changed in March and April as follows:
the new business name of IPC Real Estate Business SRL is Nord Hill Real Estate SRL;
the new business name of IPC Real Estate AS is Nord Hill Real Estate AS;
the new business name of IPC Romanian Land portfolio OÜ is Nord Hill Land Portfolio OÜ.
The business name and trade mark of the IPC Investment Group will remain the same without changes.
